At CWTS we are committed to protecting the health, safety and welfare of our all employees under the terms of the Health and Safety Act 1974 and the relevant regulations.
We have over 20 detailed policies and procedures all of which relate to Health and Safety issues. Our staff are regularly trained and refreshed in these procedures ensuring the best protection possible for them, the clients and any other person(s) involved.
Just some examples of our Health and Safety measures include;
- Detailed risk assessments are prepared for each job and provided to all relevant persons for review. An on-site risk assessment is undertaken by the team at the start of each day.
- Regular forums are arranged for staff to vocalise any health and safety concerns.
- We undertake thorough inspections of all our vehicles 7 plant equipment every morning.
- All tools and PPE are checked, inspected maintained and serviced in accordance with the manufacturer and the provisions of PUWER.
- All of our climbing, rigging equipment are regularly checked and inspected in accordance with LOLER.
- A trained ‘First Aider’ is present at every work site
We are also fully insured to 10 million. Our clients can be rest assured that we will operate in the safest way possible with minimum risk to both people and environment.
