Our PPE inspection service can be undertaken for Arboricultural, IRATA or Mountaineering equipment.
LOLER (lifting operations and lifting equipment regulations 1998) requires lifting equipment to be thoroughly examined by a competent person.
Certificate
We will provide a certificate for each inspection for your records along with detailed report of any notable defects on each item.
Re-inspection
Equipment records will be kept on file and used for future inspections. A history of each item will be kept through each subsequent inspection. The updated equipment record logs will be provided accordingly to indicate those items needing attention and the next inspection date.

Arboricultural climbing kits would typically include:
1 helmet, 1 climbing rope, 1 climbing harness, 3 prussic loops, 1 climbing device, 1 pulley, up to 5 karabiners, lanyard & wire core flip line.
Rigging equipment kits would typically include:
Lowering ropes, pulleys, capstans, slings, karabiners, shackles and connectors.
IRATA climbing kits would typically include:
1 helmet, 2 climbing ropes, 1 harness, 1 cow’s tail rope, 1 hand ascender, 1 descender, 1 Petzl ASAP or similar, 2 Petzl Crolls’ or similar, up to 5 karabiners, 1 shock absorbing lanyard, 1 lanyard, 1 foot loop, 2 webbing slings
